Alison has a background in textile design with an MA in Fashion from Central St Martin's in London. She began to explore painting once she moved to Brighton where her home and studio are now firmly based. She has exhibited throughout the UK and worldwide.

“My practice often works within the narrative of transformation as an artist and individual. I try to create a sense of space and energy in the drawing or painting and this process connects me to an energy in me and outside of me. I hope my work resonates with people, but  I don't set out to please - if anything I want to create a conversation."
